When traveling out of the country, access to "Family Friendly" facilities become even more im
portant. Because most international destinations require connections and earlier check-in, the likelihood of being stuck at a major hub increases.
Stress and boredom can be eased at locations that welcome families. A continuation of yesterday's list, here are the top family-friendly international airports as ranked by ASTA members.
- BAA Heathrow Airport (London)
- Schiphol Airport (Amsterdam)
- Frankfurt Airport
- Gatwick Airport (London)
- Changi Airport (Singapore)

Available for a fee is a family lounge with fantastic views of the runway, complimentary refreshments, magazines, as well as interactive toys and games. (Reservations suggested @ www.holideck.co.uk). Located above one of the departure halls is a family restaurant named Touchdown (get it?) with a children's play area and a view of the runway.
Those with time to kill can enjoy a shower at the Hotel Mercure, for EUR 12.50 (including towels, soap and shampoo), on the first floor of
Lounge 3.
